I have been collecting Wedgewood since I visited the Wedgewood and Waterford factories in England and Ireland in 1987. I am now offering these magnificent pieces to other like-minded collectors out there who are interested in growing their collections, too. Celebrating British craftsmanship long associated with nobility, perseverance and dignity, I've always been attracted to the matte suede-like velour-like texture of soft blue, pink, green, black and yellow color palettes of Jasper, the most enduring and iconic of Wedgwood ornamental pieces of art. Wedgewood is synonymous with luxury porcelain products since the 1700’s. Josiah Wedgwood and Sons, commonly known as Wedgwood, is a pottery firm owned by KPS Capital Partners, a private equity company based in New York City. Wedgwood was founded on May 1, 1759 by Josiah Wedgwood and in 1987 merged with Waterford Crystal to create Waterford Wedgwood, an Ireland-based luxury brands group. After the 2009 purchase by KPS Capital, Wedgwood became part of a group of companies known as WWRD Holdings Ltd, an acronym for "Waterford Wedgwood Royal Doulton." All my pieces are handmade and authentic estate selections. Most of my pieces are ornated with and represent the Hellenic Greek & Roman (Greco-Roman Etruscan) classical scenes & personalities, cherubs, nymphs, angels, chariots and horses, musical instruments and Mediterranean florals, vines & grapes and olive & palm trees.

This piece is a blue and white, Square Box with Cover, 4 square inches, 2 inches tall with white cameo-style classical scenes & personalities and Mediterranean trees and florals.

For decorative purposes only, not intended for food. Do not microwave, put on stove or in oven.

Cleaning instructions: Dust off with a feather duster or wipe gently with a soft damp cloth. No soaking or dishwashers.
